“Textbooks are not as attractive as animations. Take Fun n’ Friends for example. There is a theme song at the end of each unit. Children can summarise what they have learnt after listening to the song. The theme songs are produced in the UK and are presented by native speakers. Children can learn grammar and sentence structure through singing. Singing is fun and can improve students’ memories. This is not rote memorisation, but learning through living.”

“Chloe is currently studying in P2. Just like many students in Hong Kong, she has to learn English as a second language. Because of the program, her listening skill has been improved. I measured her improvement not only basic on Fun n’ Friends result. But I was comparing her school marks in English; her in class assignment on listening has improved from an average of C+ or B- to A. I am not a result sensitive parent, but seeing her confident level has been increased after doing the program. I was pleased and of course Chloe was very happy too.”

It is really fun that my daughter and I can watch the animations together so that I could help her with the questions. She really enjoys watching the award-winning animations, Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues, very much. She has also improved her computer skills with the mouse and keyboard.

My kids enjoy the online English programme Fun n' Friends very much. They are particularly motivated by the interesting cartoons. I also find that the follow-up exercises are very carefully designed which facilitates and reinforces learning. The children can really learn something after doing the exercises. They are both fun and useful.

Celine 今年讀六年級,對傳統的英語課程一直不感興趣,但自從用了Fun n’ Friends學英文,她就用過不停,連她自己也大喊:「愛上了學英文!」課程有趣固然重要,成效高更加重要。Celine 只是用了幾個月,英文已經大有進步,今次期考英文科更取得A級成績,相信很有機會入讀首選的中學了!

I really like the "Listening Dictation" exercise where it helps my daughter improve her spelling notably. My daughter was so excited about the lesson on the "High School Musical" where she finished it first before moving onto the other lessons.

Over the past two and a half months' summer holiday, I was luckily enough to have daily access to the Fun n'Friends' online English course, which provided me the continuous, wonderful and wild lessons that satisfied my curiousity in English. It is always so surprising every time I open it! I like the cute sounds and the videos so much!
With its increasing levels of challenges, I can try various difficult passages, and view a variety of videos. Its immediate replies to my answers looks like a teacher hiding behind and playing with me!
I like Fun’n'Friends and it so funny and friendly too!

Hi, I am Julian Poon. Last year, my English teacher assigned an online assignment - Fun-n-Friends. I felt so curious, so I decided to visit the website during recess. I found that it is a website that provides English listening and comprehension exercises, and it is very useful for me. After doing it for half a year, my English has improved a lot, as I did the examination better than before. I am still doing it every day in order to improve my English skills. I hope I can do Fun-n-Friends in secondary school too!

I have done many amazing things (which I think are off the chart), but so far, the one English program I like the best is Fun-n-Friends. Every Tuesday and Thursday, you give me cool subjects to work on. They make my day so much fun! I also learn new movie subjects without having to check out what hot subjects are on the big screen, like Hanna Montana, Monsters VS Aliens, Kung Fu Panda and loads more! No offense, but don't you think you should have new lessons more frequently, so we can improve our English? Although sometimes I encountered some problems in the questions, recently I have managed to get 100 marks. Well, that's all for now, and I look forward to meeting you all on the day of the award presentation.

Doing “Fun n’ Friends” is not the same as doing homework!
It is much more interesting. I enjoy the videos which teach me a lot of new things and words. Of course, I love the reward cartoons each time I have gained enough badges.
This encourages me to work harder to get higher scores.

Hello! I will tell you my experience when doing an exercise, called Fun n Friends. It builds up my confidence in English.
At the start, I felt nervous. I was new to doing English exercises on the Web. Then, I gradually became more used to it, and was impressed when there were some games to play that helped me learn at the same time! I loved the background music in the games. It was lovely. The Lesson Journeys were fun too! I learned many, many things from these journeys, such as;
- New vocabulary words,
- More knowledge about the world,
- Interesting stories,
- Many lessons that we should learn from, and
- Fascinating people who are memorable!
I have been working hard for exams at school and Fun 'n' Friends' exercises have built up my confidence not to get nervous and let myself get ready to do the exam confidently. I do their exercises daily.
During lesson journeys, many new things flow into my head. I have learnt so much while doing these exercises!
I enjoy every moment when the lesson begins. Even if I get some questions incorrect, I still learn something new. I learn from the mistakes I make. Sometimes, I redo the lesson to get higher marks.

The lessons are very interesting and the characters are very famous with their great songs. I have learnt how to use the past tense.”

I find it interesting to do the exercises, especially the movie trailers, on the ‘Fun-n-Friends’ platform. It contains many useful English materials too and its interface is designed beautifully. It improves my listening skills and it enhances my audio-visual perception, which is beneficial for us to prepare for listening exams. I think it is one of the best online exercise websites in Hong Kong and I would recommend it to my friends and hope they will enjoy doing the exercises on this website.

I enjoy and have fun working with Fun and Friends exercises. The stories are exciting and the characters are just like our friends. I love the comprehensions part because it’s fun and I can learn a lot of new vocabularies.
Thanks to mum, dad and grandma for their encouragement. I have introduced Fun and Friends to my brother Owen, he loves it so much that he had asked mum to enrol him as soon as possible. Soon we can both have fun with Fun and Friends!

I am so glad to be one of the top achievers of the Fun n’ Friends programme. Although sometimes I feel tried after school, I rush back home to do my Fun n’ Friends because it is fun and fantastic!
Fun n’ Friends exercises not only enhance my English but also make me feel relaxed. After one year of practicing I believe that my English has been improved. I would continue to do my Fun n’ Friends in order to create an authentic and enjoyable learning experience for myself.

Fun n’ Friends is a fun and good place for learning English. They provide cartoons to watch and I like it very much! Apart from that, there are lots of exercises including reading, comprehension, listening and writing. Sometimes, they will send us games to play as well, and it’s all about to learn more about English while we are having fun! You can also enter some words to Dr Speech and ‘he’ will help you to read a word that you don’t know, isn’t that great?
I do learn a lot of new vocabularies, and I feel myself becoming smarter and happier!!

I enjoy doing the Fun-n-Friends program because it is interesting. I learn a lot of useful English words and a lot of nice and funny movies. There are many good English exercises in fun-n-friends programs. I learn many vocabularies and new words. My listening skill is better now, and I can write sentences with correct grammar. Doing fun-n-friends programs is really fun!
I enjoy many movie trailers, “Dora explorer”, and many movie songs. I also play games and do assessment exercises. My favourite part in fun-n-friends is the TV time and my favourite video is “Blue’s Clues”.
I will introduce fun-n-friends to my friends and my cousins.

As the name Fun-n-Friends implies, there is so much fun in this course. I watch movies and answer challenging questions and play many exciting games. The part I like most is being able to watch a video after finishing five lessons and achieving seventy points.
Fun-n-Friends is a great course. I learnt so many useful things that have not only improved my English grammar and vocabulary, but also my typing skills.
When you go through the course, you watch videos and answer related questions.
Sometimes you watch movie trailers! Sometimes you watch science videos! Sometimes you watch pop music videos!
Everyone should take Fun-n-Friends. It’s really fun. ^0^

I enjoyed all the learning progammes so far, but I like FNF best. I like the music, the videos, the games and also the characters. I like to watch the Wonder Pets with my baby sister Sharon, she will copy and say the last words very loudly, "Yeah!” it is full of fun, we laugh and laugh. And I must say thank you to FNF, as it gives me more chances to listen to beautiful English and gives me more chances to know hot issues in English, surely I will keep on joining. Thank you.

I really like to do Fun n’ Friends. There are many funny videos to watch. I like Steve in Blue’s Clues most. He is so silly and forgetful. But he teaches me a lot of good things. There are also many interesting questions. When I get high marks, I feel very happy and excited. I am longing to join Fun n’ Friends again in September.

Thanks Fun n Friends for letting me have this award. I am so happy. Every day after school, I have homework to do, but still I need to finish Fun n Friends. Because I can learn a lot of information from it and I can have more English knowledge. When I have to do Fun n Friends, I will do it until it's done. Again, thanks everyone, my parents and Fun n Friends.

I am very proud of myself to get this award. I think this curriculum is good for me. My English was not very good in P.4, so I joined this curriculum in P.5. My P.5 examination results show obvious improvement and progress.
My grammar and writing is also bad. But I always do the exercises and do Fun n’ Friends’ exercises. So my grammar and writing is better than in the past.
The Fun n’ Friends programme has introduce me to current affairs, news-worthy content and the latest movies. That makes more knowledgeable.

Fun-n-Friends really helps me to improve my English. When I do the lessons, I learn many new words. It helps my listening too, as I can spell some words that I have never learned before.
My favourite part of the exercise is “Funland”. Here I have to write down the sentences I hear. It helps my listening a lot.
I got this award because I do the lessons every day. When I do not do well, I do it again, and get a higher mark.
I am happy to get this award. I will keep on doing Fun-n-Friends and getting the highest score!

" I think Fun n' Friends is good because it has movies. I enjoy the movies and it motivates me to do the exercises. Another thing is that Fun n' Friends often has some prizes for us when we perform well. This will make us do it daily because we will want prizes.
I think the things Fun n' Friends can improve is not playing the dictation part so many times, because maybe some people will type one word over and over if they listen to it many times. And I think you should not let us to go back to the page before on the dictation part, because somebody might copy the words from the pages before."
